Quick Baby Update

Yep still pregnant, but hopefully not for too much longer!

Addison is still growing although where she seems to find room at these days is beyond me. She doesn't have any problem kicking the mess out of my rib cage that's for sure! Whoever said this pregnant business is a good time has never been pregnant because these last couple of weeks have been miserable and I have a feel the remaining weeks will not be much better! The things you go through for your kids! I'm sure Jed is ready for this part to be over although he has been a trooper and a great help to me during this last little bit when it's hard for me to do too much anymore. I'm truly lucky to have him.

We see the doc on Monday to finalize some things. It's the start of my weekly appointments, but with only 3 maybe 4 weeks left that won't be too bad! We'll keep you posted!

Let the final countdown begin..woohoo!!

I've missed these faces!

I was able to see two of my most favorite little men last weekend as well as two of my best friends. It was such a great weekend despite it being slightly exhausting it was great to be able to spend some time with them before Addison gets here. I also got to have a great evening with all of my other favorite people that I miss terribly.

Thanks for a great weekend Mandy!! Glad I got to come celebrate your birthday with you. Can't wait to see you again in May!!

Sweet Kohen (such a tubby guy!!)

We survived the first year!

Last weekend, March 1 to be exact, Jed and I celebrated our one year Anniversary. It went by incredibly fast and we had a lot of changes and big decisions that we had to go through together. But we have come out of it all with a stronger relationship and I wouldn't trade him for the world.
In our first year we survived only seeing each other on the weekends for the first 5 months. We survived a big move that was a huge decision, a very difficult decision, but we have been blessed by our decision. We left behind so many people that we love and miss daily, but God had a plan in mind for us. Jed has started becoming adjusted to civilian life after having to retire from what he loved doing with the Army and I can not even begin to understand how hard that was for him. And in the mist of all of this we find out we are expecting our first baby girl who will now be arriving in just 6 short weeks. While we didn't always plan on some things happening we are so greatful for the jobs that we have and the friendships we have started making here. This journey is just starting for us!
