We survived our first week! Her jaundice is getting better and she is back to her birth weight if not past it! No she's not cross eyed but for some reason she crosses them often..makes me nervous they will get stuck that way!

We are now 3 days away..
Super quick update...
So little Miss Addison sent me into labor last Sunday only nothing else was ready so they stopped labor and have put me on bedrest..well for me partial bedrest. I can work about 3 hours a day and then I have to rest. Not an easy task for this girl let me tell ya! The doctor has scheduled for us to go in to the hospital Sunday night instead of Monday so they can go ahead and get some prep stuff done and we can start this process. She is apparently on the slightly larger side so he's wanting to move forward so that it doesn't make it any worse for me.
Our only concern at this point is that she is refusing to drop so our hope is that during labor she will drop on her own. Worse case scenario we end up having a c-section if she won't cooperate. We are hoping she cooperates! We will let you know as soon as she makes her arrival!

Oh baby!!
Quick update for the week..
Looks like we are now scheduled for April 13th! At this point she is not doing anything and the fear is that she will get too big since I am currently measuring at 40 weeks. I also don't think I can handle being pregnant for another 3.5 weeks!! So unless she comes on her own we will meet Addison Grace Monday April 13th!

Quick Baby Update
Yep still pregnant, but hopefully not for too much longer!
Addison is still growing although where she seems to find room at these days is beyond me. She doesn't have any problem kicking the mess out of my rib cage that's for sure! Whoever said this pregnant business is a good time has never been pregnant because these last couple of weeks have been miserable and I have a feel the remaining weeks will not be much better! The things you go through for your kids! I'm sure Jed is ready for this part to be over although he has been a trooper and a great help to me during this last little bit when it's hard for me to do too much anymore. I'm truly lucky to have him.
We see the doc on Monday to finalize some things. It's the start of my weekly appointments, but with only 3 maybe 4 weeks left that won't be too bad! We'll keep you posted!
Let the final countdown begin..woohoo!!

I've missed these faces!
I was able to see two of my most favorite little men last weekend as well as two of my best friends. It was such a great weekend despite it being slightly exhausting it was great to be able to spend some time with them before Addison gets here. I also got to have a great evening with all of my other favorite people that I miss terribly.
Thanks for a great weekend Mandy!! Glad I got to come celebrate your birthday with you. Can't wait to see you again in May!!
Me and Mandy (you'll have to excuse the super round prego face!)

We survived the first year!
Last weekend, March 1 to be exact, Jed and I celebrated our one year Anniversary. It went by incredibly fast and we had a lot of changes and big decisions that we had to go through together. But we have come out of it all with a stronger relationship and I wouldn't trade him for the world.
In our first year we survived only seeing each other on the weekends for the first 5 months. We survived a big move that was a huge decision, a very difficult decision, but we have been blessed by our decision. We left behind so many people that we love and miss daily, but God had a plan in mind for us. Jed has started becoming adjusted to civilian life after having to retire from what he loved doing with the Army and I can not even begin to understand how hard that was for him. And in the mist of all of this we find out we are expecting our first baby girl who will now be arriving in just 6 short weeks. While we didn't always plan on some things happening we are so greatful for the jobs that we have and the friendships we have started making here. This journey is just starting for us!

Belly Shots
The Baby Shower
This past weekend my sisters, niece, Sandy and Amy threw a shower for me back home. Mom claimed not to be a hostess, but she also did a ton so technically I think she was. It was a great shower with so many wonderful gifts. I'm pretty sure Addison has a bigger wardrobe than I do now! The pictures are not necessarily in the order I want them in, but I'm still figuring this blog stuff out.
The gift from the hostess's a Glider for the nursery! I'm so excited about this..and look there's a belly shot too.
All of the hostesses (L to R) Amy, Mom, Me, Abby, Lauren, Sandy, Rachel, Kelsey

Us Duncan girls with my Aunt Sandy (my dad's sister)
The gift table..pre shower otherwise you would not be able to see it. It was covered!
Instead of cake we had cupcakes and they turned out so good..so much fun! And very colorful. Delicious too I might add I may have had a couple after the shower : )

Lauren's crazy little cupcake
This thing has everything from bottles to pacifiers, washcloths, hairbows, socks, and I'm sure more that I just haven't found yet!
There are a ton of pictures, but that would make for a crazy long blog so I stuck with just some details!

Why do you want weird things while pregnant??
Sorry this post will be without pictures, but I will be putting up a couple more here shortly. I have a couple of post that involve pictures I just have to take the time to drop them into my computer from my camera. I forget about that sometimes!
Either way all of a sudden I am craving random things that I never in my life have thought of or wanted or haven't had in ages. Luckily I still do not have a single craving at random times during the night and I don't necessarily have to eat what I'm craving when I crave it I just keep thinking of random things that sound good that normally wouldn't. A big one is peanut butter and banana pancakes. Dad used to make us peanut butter and banana sandwhiches when we were kids, but now I only want that on pancakes. I woke up before 6 this morning wanting that which means Jed had a good breakfast this morning too! Apricots are another one..again not sure why, but it was all I could do not to buy 4 different types of apricot jelly in the store the other day (mainly because they were gourmet and $6 a jar..yikes) and just settle for the canned kind. And those were delicious! Lucky charms I could eat at every meal..I'm not kidding it could be all that I have even though I'm not supposed to do that. I also have no desire for meat anymore I try to eat it and yeah not so much. Which is fine with me since I'm not a huge fan of it anyway!
I just wonder if these are things that I will keep wanting after she arrives! Although the peanut butter banana pancakes are delicious I must say I will probably still want that!
Either way I should finally have some updated belly bump shots seeing as how my sisters like to tell me how much I grow daily..makes a girl feel so good inside : )
Addison is super active these days especially when certain people talk to her or when her cousin Kelsey sings Beyonce's All the Single Ladies...it's starting already!
Next post I will not ramble I'll have pictures!!

Our First Real Peek..
About three weeks ago we got to take the 4D look at little miss Addison. It was a little surreal to see her so clearly..technology has come a long way!! My two sisters and my niece got to share the experience with us and we all fell in love with her fat cheeks! Right now it looks like she has her daddy's nose and mouth. He swears he doesn't see this but anyone else who has seen these mentions that right off! I guess we will find out soon enough..
You will have to excuse the cord that she has up by her face. It made it a little difficult to get a full shot of her, but this was as good as we could get her to cooperate!

Only 9 weeks left before we get to meet her!
